Work is scheduled to resume March 15 from Ashland to the Platte River on US-6, barring bad weather, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Constructors Inc., of Lincoln, Nebraska, has been awarded the $4.5 million project. Construction will continue with rehabilitation of the bridge over Salt Creek, guardrails, and storm sewer work. Temporary lane closures with flaggers and temporary traffic signals will be in use.

The project is anticipated to be completed August 2018. The Department’s project manager is Brian Schoen of Lincoln.
