Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony of the brand new Massachusetts Ready Mix concrete plant in Littleton, which is expected to have a positive impact on the entire state, The Lowell Sun reports.

Gov. Baker credited Town Administrator Keith Bergmen for working with state government and the ready mix company’s parent company, Middlesex Corp., to get the plant up and running.

“It’s a great example of a local community working together with a local business to solve a regional need that ultimately benefits all of us here in the commonwealth,” Gov. Baker said during the ceremony, according to the news agency. “It’s one of those opportunities for a win-win all the way around.”

General Manager Wayne Tarr led Baker and town officials on a tour of the plant, from rock being brought in on a conveyor to the mixing area where water is added to create concrete.

Bob Pereira, COO and founder of Middlesex Corp., said the new plant will help the dump trucks charlotte nc grow, provide high-paying jobs, and continue to give back to the community. “We’re proud to continue to invest in the state of Massachusetts and the town of Littleton,” he said during the ceremony, according to the news agency.
