Kenny Construction awarded $39M I-90 improvement project in Chicago | Dump Truck Company

Granite announced that one of its subsidiaries, Kenny Construction Co., was awarded a $39 million interstate improvement contract by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) for the westbound Interstate 90 project in Chicago.
Work on the interstate will include construction of an auxiliary lane, ramp modifications at three interchanges to tie into the widened interstate, construction of six new retaining walls, repairs to five existing retaining walls, realignment of one retaining wall, and resurfacing of westbound Interstate 90 from Interstate 190 to Harlem Ave.
Construction is scheduled to begin in Summer 2018 and conclude in Summer 2020.
