To mark eight decades in business, APT took to the road with an eight-stop, 80th Anniversary Road Show culminating with a grand-finale event recently in the company’s hometown of Santa Ana, California.

“Eighty years is a huge achievement and we’re proud of the rich history that comes along with it,” says Andrew Mayer, business development manager at APT, a tool provider for the construction and industrial markets.

The Road Show kicked off  at The Rental Show in New Orleans last February, stopped in Orlando, Florida; Lancaster, Pennsylvania; York, Pennsylvania; Mason, Ohio; Annandale, Minnesota; Hobbs, New Mexico; El Paso, Texas; and Santa Ana, California. At each event, attendees enjoyed demos, games, prizes and food.

Photos and thank-yous were shared along the way on APT’s Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn channels.

“It’s been great to get together with customers, reps and friends, and have everyone get to know APT even better,” Mayer says.

In addition to smaller prizes at every stop, APT collected entries for the grand prize: an APT 110 compressor and 160, 60 lb. breaker package won by All Star Rents of Fairfield, California.

APT’s product line offers a complete range of pneumatic and hydraulic tools and portable power.
