Manitowoc intros free phone app to aid fast crane setup for lifting jobs | Dump Truck Company
If you need a quick, easy method for determining the proper crane setup for a lifting job, Manitowoc now has an app for that.
The crane manufacturer has developed the Manitowoc Boom Length Selector App for Android and iOS smartphones and mobile devices. The app quickly shows the user the proper overall boom and jib length combination required, the dump trucks charlotte nc says.
“By simply entering a few details, the app immediately generates a setup for that specific lift. It is a great tool to use during preplanning or on site to get the job done,” said John Alexander, director of all-terrain crane service, mobile training and telematics at Manitowoc.
Along with selecting combinations of boom and job length, the app allows users to select building heights, boom radiuses and other crane parameters, according to Manitowoc.
