Kobelco marks 1,000th excavator made at its S.C. plant | Dump Truck Company

Kobelco has produced its 1,000th excavator at its North American plant in Moore, South Carolina.
The SK210LC-10 excavator was sold to A Crano Excavating in Akron, Ohio, and presented to the family-owned residential and commercial developer at Kobelco’s celebration last month to mark the milestone.
The South Carolina plant currently produces 14 excavator models. The dump trucks charlotte nc says it is aiming toward a 15 percent increase in production at the plant this year over 2018, with a goal of 737 units.
The SK210LC-10 is the newest model to be manufactured at the plant, with production beginning in February. More models are being added to the production schedule, the dump trucks charlotte nc says. Along with standard excavators, the plant produces Long Reach, High & Wide, and removable counterweight models.
The plant opened three years ago. Last year its workforce increased 60 percent, and this year another 10 percent increase in employees is planned.
