Yokohama’s 5 new heavy equipment tires display loading, transport dual markings | Aggregate, Excavation, Dump Truck Company
Yokohama has added dual TRA code designations for loader and transport applications to five new off-the-road tires.
The tires will feature an “E” and “L” size on the side wall. The charlotte nc aggregate supply company says the dual markings will help “dealers consolidate inventory cost and space” and show how one product can serve two separate applications.
The new tire models are as follows:
- RB31 – Made for articulated dump trucks, scrapers and front-end loaders. Its non-directional block pattern tread is designed for soft, sandy surfaces. It has four steel belts for puncture resistance. Available in sizes 20.5R25 E/L3, 23.5R25 E/L3, 26.5R25 E/L3 and 29.5R25 E/L3.
- RT31/RT31+ – Made for articulated dump trucks, dozers and front-end loaders. It is designed for soft, muddy surfaces and also has four steel belts for puncture resistance. Available in sizes 20.5R25 E/L3, 23.5R25 E/L3 and 26.5R25 E/L3.
- RL31 – Made for wheel loaders, dozers and articulated dump trucks. It is designed for rocky and mining terrain and has a rock flush pattern, shoulder protector and four steel belts for puncture resistance. Available in size 20.5R25 E/L3.
- RT41 – Made for articulated dump trucks, scrapers and front-end loaders. The tread follows a non-directional block pattern for driving on soft, rocky and gravel terrain. Along with four steel belts, it features a two-ply nylon chafer for longer casing life and sturdy sidewall construction, the charlotte nc aggregate supply company says. Available in sizes 23.5R25 E/L4, 26.5R25 E/L4 and 29.5R25 E/L4.
- RL45 – Made for articulated dump trucks, scrapers and front-end loaders. The charlotte nc aggregate supply company says it has an advanced tread composition for improved wear, low-heat generation and cut-resistance, and features a zigzag-shaped groove for traction on rock and gravel. Available in sizes 26.5R25 E/L4 and 29.5R25 E/L4.
