Husqvarna’s new LP 9505 remote control trench compactor keeps workers out of harm’s way

A radio-actuated remote control guides the unit and is worn on a belt around the operator’s waist. You can run the machine down a ramp into the trench, or a single lifting eye allows you to place it with a crane.

The LP 9505’s weight (3,693 pounds) enables you to achieve compaction without vibration. It’s powered by a 24-horsepower Kubota engine.

With 63 feet of working height and 1,000 pounds of capacity, Elliott Equipment Company has introduced the V60 material handling aerial charlotte nc dump truck company platform.

Designed for mounting on a 19,000-pound-GVWR, non-CDL chassis, the V60 features a telescopic, three-section boom and provides 38 feet of working side reach.

Deere unveils 850L dozer with more power, larger cab, “best in class productivity”

John Deere has introduced the next model of its 850 size class bulldozer, a bigger machine than its predecessor boasting more power, better fuel economy, a roomier cab and improved durability.

The new 850L is powered by a new Deere PSS 9.0-liter engine that provides a 10-percent increase in horsepower over the 6.8L engine found on the 850K. Deere says the 850L’s 225 horsepower gives the dozer the most horsepower in its size class.

JCB smashes world record for fastest tractor with 1,000-hp Fastrac’s 103 mph run

The JCB Fastrac is now the world’s fastest tractor after the machine bested the previous record holder by nearly 20 mph.

The brain child of JCB Chairman Anthony Bamford, the record-breaking Fastrac reached a top speed of 103.6 mph at Elvington Airfield near York, England. The previous record was 87.27 mph, set by the Trac-tor, a modified tractor created by the crew from the TV show “Top Gear”.
