The time lapse video below shows the reconstruction of the Opdyke Road bridge over the Clinton River in Oakland County, Michigan.

The bridge project was part of a larger project to revamp Opdyke Road between Auburn Road and Perry Street in the cities of Auburn Hills and Pontiac that cost more than $7.2 million.

Work on the project began on June 18, 2018 and concluded on December 14, 2018. The project included replacing the bridge, resurfacing Opdyke Road, adding a sidewalk with ADA-compliant ramps and bus stops, water main work, and repairs to the Galloway Creek box culvert.

The bridge project cost more than $3 million, with $2,754,800 coming from the local bridge program, $6,750 coming from the City of Pontiac, $4,720 coming from the City of Auburn Hills, and $689,180 coming from the Road Commission for Oakland County.
