Ford intros FX2 package for 2019 Ranger

Ford is introducing the new Ranger FX2 Package as another choice for customers who want off-road styling and capability in a two-wheel-drive offering.

Aimed at more urban markets, the FX2 Package rides on 17- or available 18-inch off-road tires to add tougher styling to a two-wheel-drive Ranger. A front underbody guard and air dam-delete shield the underbody and improve approach angles.

Bobcat rolls out the E10e, its first electric mini excavator

Bobcat’s dive into battery-powered construction charlotte nc dump trucks has had two causes for celebration recently.

According to a report from Middle East Construction News, the company’s first fully-electric, 1-ton mini excavator—the E10e zero tail swing (ZTS)—started rolling off the production line in July. Plus, the machine’s “entire production run for the year has already been sold out,” MECN reports.

Test Drive: 2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel delivers impressive power and fuel economy

Following a three-year hiatus and allegations of emissions cheating, every truck from the 2020 Ram 1500 line-up is again available with the new, more powerful, more fuel efficient third generation 3.0-liter EcoDiesel.

The V6 oil burner twists out 480 lb.-ft. torque at 1,600 rpm, a 14 percent increase from its prior iteration, giving it class-leading torque in a half-ton diesel. Horsepower is up eight percent to 260.

Cat unveils new D3 Series lineup of skid steers, CTLs that handle Smart Attachments

Caterpillar’s new D3 Series of skid steers and compact track loaders are designed for handling the company’s new line of Smart Attachments, which the carrier machines automatically recognize and adjust machine controls to.

Cat says the new Smart Attachments are an industry first, and with advanced machine technology, the news skids and CTLs tailor controls and operator information to match the attachment and the task.
