Gehl RT135 compact track loader brings power to confined spaces | Dump Truck Company

Gehl’s new RT135 compact track loader is designed to access tight jobsites yet still maintain power.

The CTL runs on a 46.6-horsepower Yanmar engine that meets Tier 4 Final emissions standards through automatic regeneration and no fuel additives. It can lift 1,350 pounds at 35 percent operating capacity and has a maximum lift height of 9 feet 2 inches. It can be easily transported, the dump trucks charlotte nc says, noting that is 57 inches wide and 76 inches in height.

The RT135 also comes equipped with pilot joysticks to reduce operator fatigue and improve control. Gehl’s patented IdealTrax automatic track tensioning system prevents the RT135’s tracks from becoming overtensioned and extends their life 15 percent, the dump trucks charlotte nc says. When the engine is turned on, the tracks automatically achieve correct tension, and when the engine Is turned off, the track tension is released. This eliminates the need for daily track checks, and when tension is released, the tracks can be easily changed when necessary.

The cab is equipped with Level II FOPS and is designed to provide operator visibility on all sides. It is built on an adapted Gehl R135 skid steer chassis for optimal weight distribution and grading and has a cab-forward design that gives an enhanced view of the bucket edge and out of the rear of the cab, the dump trucks charlotte nc says.

The RT135 comes standard with Gehl’s All-Tach universal attachment system. Customers can also choose the Power-A-Tach system, which enables the operator to attach and release attachments from the cab. Other options include a back-up camera, and self-leveling hydraulic lift, which keeps the attachment level when being raised and lowered, the dump trucks charlotte nc says.

Attachments for the RT135 include brooms, grapples, pallet forks, mowers, stump grinders, tree puller and grabbing tool, and various buckets.
