LiuGong Intros 909ECR, Its First Excavator in the Popular 8- to-10-Metric-Ton Size Class | Dump Truck Company

LiuGong 909ECR is powered by a 59-net-horsepower Yanmar diesel.

LiuGong North America’ s 9-metric-ton 909ECR is designed to compete in the popular 8- to 10-metric-ton size class, and has a limited 4-foot-8-inch tail swing radius with a 7-foot-10-inch undercarriage.

Powered by a 59 net horsepower Yanmar 3.3-liter engine, the 909ECR has an operating weight of 19,180 pounds and a bucket capacity of 0.3 to 0.42 cubic yards, allowing it to be transported on a trailer behind a properly-equipped pickup truck.  Lifting capacity at ground level is over 11,500 pounds.

The 909ECR fills a large gap in the LiuGong excavator lineup, being positioned between LiuGong’s 3.8-metric-ton 9035EZTS and its 16.3-metric-ton 915E.

LiuGong says the improved cab design offers operators better line-of-site than previous models as well as standard features such as rear cameras, proportional joystick controls, an air suspension seat and LCD monitor, through which an operator can control and diagnose machine operations.

Using the monitor, operators can control pressure and flow on the machine’s dual auxiliary high-flow and low-flow proportional control hydraulic circuits. The dedicated case drain line from the arm’s end to the hydraulic tank allows easy installation of attachments such as grapples, mulchers and mowers. An optional quick coupler or power latch tilt coupler is available.

Steel tracks with rubber street pads come standard with the 909ECR and offer increased traction. Two-speed travel with auto downshift allows the machine to move easily. Proportional two-way action dozer function with standard blade float allows for backfilling when in reverse travel mode. The blade float function is enabled by a detent on the control lever.

The boom swing gives operators the ability to dig parallel to the dozer blade with minimum repositioning. While working in an offset position alongside obstacles, the swing post and cylinder stay within the tracks.

The 909ECR ROPS/FOPS-certified cab comes standard with rain guard, 2-stage air-cleaner, pattern changer, standard 3-year telematics and a 3-year / 4,000-hour standard full-machine warranty.
