Specifically, the Mott MacDonald-led team will design connecting terminals; airport roads and parking and a commercial component with fine dining and luxury retail, as well as conference and meeting space. The master plan will also include a strategy for new security.
When New York Govenor Andrew Cuomo first announced the project, he and others involved in its execution said that it was ripe for delivery as a P3 and could involve private investment.
