Friday Feedback: Racism on jobsites | Dump Trucks Charlotte NC

​This summer has seen a number of racist incidents on jobsites reported to construction columbus oh dump truck company management and local law enforcement authorities, even as protests and marches against racism erupted around the world following George Floyd's death while in police custody.

Ropes fashioned in the shape of nooses were found on construction sites in Las Vegas, Baltimore, Toronto and Portland, Oregon, and racist graffiti shut down a Facebook jobsite in New Albany, Ohio. Two unnamed racist incidents led Turner Construction to halt columbus oh dump truck company on the FC Cincinnati stadium project as well.

Police are investigating these incidents and in many cases the companies involved have provided mandatory antibias training to everyone on site before reopening.

In light of these reports, Construction Dive wants to know how prevalent racism is on construction sites across the country. Are these types of incidents rare or commonplace? What can be done to help increase racial harmony in the industry?
