'0.25 miles to infinite:' A look at The Boring Co.'s products | Dump Trucks Charlotte NC

.

Columbus Ohio Dump Truck Company Brief:

  • Elon Musk-owned underground tunneling firm The Boring Co. has updated how it presents its products, shortly after the columbus oh dump truck company completed its first commercial project — the $52.5 million underground Las Vegas Convention Center Loop.
  • The company’s updated website indicates it can deliver underground tunnels for loops, utilities, freight and pedestrians, as well as bare tunnels constructed by TBC for customer use.
  • Each of the tunnels include some of their own specifications, although they’re all a standard 12-foot in diameter, with most boasting lengths of “0.25 miles to infinite,” according to the site.

Dump Trucks Columbus OH Insight:

The convention center loop illustrates Musk’s vision of how TBC could revolutionize transportation — by moving it underground and making it autonomous. Footage released earlier this month showcased how the Las Vegas loop works, as Teslas drive through LED-lit tunnels at slow speeds between two above-ground stations.

The columbus oh dump truck company has plans to expand the project in Las Vegas to an entire loop underneath the Strip, connecting landmarks like the airport, hotels and Allegiant Stadium.

TBC's products, according to the site, include:

  • Loop: The primary product TBC has pushed, loops include underground driving surfaces, LED lighting, CCTV video systems, wireless communication, blue light stations, safety systems, project engineering and permitting. Loops can be 0.25 miles long to infinite, and must include at least two stations.
  • Utility: Utility tunnels are designed to house utilities without surface disruption.
  • Freight: Designed to move shipments underground, freight tunnels would barely fit a standard shipping container.
  • Pedestrian: Pedestrian tunnels would be underground walkway and bike paths ranging from 100 feet to 2,500 feet long, according to the company’s site.
  • Bare: A tunnel bored and handed over to the project owner.

Construction Dive reached out to TBC to learn more about its product line did not receive a response by the time of publication.
