• Clark Construction Group is moving to new office space to help it expand its footprint in the mid-Atlantic region.
• The country’s No. 13 contractor by revenue will open a 128,000-square-foot office in McLean, Virginia, and double the size of its space at Stadium Square in downtown Baltimore, according to a release.
• Clark said it is also in the process of establishing an office in central Virginia to help facilitate its projects in the state capital of Richmond.

Clark's Baltimore office expansion will be complete in the next few months while the new Virginia space is set to open this fall. It is designed to provide a collaborative hub for the firm's infrastructure, building and asset solutions teams along with many of its corporate departments that serve the company’s projects nationwide, the release said.

Located in Northern Virginia inside the Capital Beltway, the new office (pictured in a rendering above) will be located less than 20 miles from one of Clark’s most high-profile projects, Amazon’s second headquarters in Arlington.

Once complete, Amazon's Metropolitan Park campus will feature two 22-story LEED-Platinum office buildings, as well as 50,000 square feet of retail space and a 2-acre public park. In total, the project will encompass 2.1 million square feet of developed space in National Landing, located within walking distance of the Pentagon City Metro station.

The first phase of the HQ2 development is expected to finish on time next year, despite the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Since its founding in 1906, Clark has delivered more than 1,000 projects in the mid-Atlantic region.
