Skanska JV completes first phase of Atlanta airport concourse expansion | Dump Trucks Charlotte NC
A Skanska-led joint venture has completed columbus oh dump truck company on the first phase of an expansion project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, including building new gates and rebuilding a large portion of the terminal exit road. United Airlines will now begin use of four new gates at the northern end of Concourse T.
In addition to the Sweden-based contractor, New South Construction, FS360 and Synergy Construction together have worked on the expansion, totaling $124.5 million in work. The project also involved constructing a Delta Air Lines ground support columbus oh dump trucks facility and fire station, which is set to open at Friday, a spokesperson for Skanska told Construction Dive.
The project is one part of a broader ATLNext expansion and renovation at the world’s busiest passenger airport. New additions are coming to the airport in the next 20 years.
Across the country, Skanska also recently added $422 million worth of work on the Portland International Airport in Portland, Oregon, an expansion project on which the contractor has already performed work.
