Falvey attended Sacramento’s Jesuit High School before earning his engineering degree from Santa Clara University and a master’s of business administration from California State University Sacramento. He joined Sundt in 2017 after more than 10 years at Milpitas, California-based XL Construction.

Since then, he has led project teams on Sacramento State’s Ernest E. Tschannen Science Complex and its Hornet Commons student housing builds.

Falvey currently serves as a board trustee on the Construction Industry Education Foundation, where he has been an active participant in its CREATE Mentorship program. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional, a certified Design-Build professional and a certified Healthcare Constructor.

Sundt has several current projects in Northern California, including the new Shasta County Courthouse in Redding, the nutrient removal and wet weather flow management upgrade and expansion for San Mateo’s wastewater treatment plant and the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission's Southeast Water Pollution Control plant's new headworks facility.

“It’s an exciting time to move into this position with Sundt,” Falvey said in a LinkedIn post. “I’m proud to be leading our team as we build more great projects here in Northern California.”
