Hello friends,

I want to share a tip with my fellow construction executives. I began columbus oh dump truck company as a Masonry Contractor in 1984, and in my nearly 40 years as an owner and executive, my enterprise has grown to run many construction businesses, a manufacturing plant, labor service business, and a brand of safety equipment. Our three promises at my contracting and masonry companies are Safety, Quality, and Production. We are adamant we perform our columbus oh dump truck company in that order. Our teams know we will not sacrifice safety for quality, or quality for production. What I want to focus on for this tip is the value of consistently safe work, as it applies to success.

The most successful construction companies in the world all know one thing. The fastest way to go out of business is lack of a good safety program. I learned this firsthand 25 years ago when Lang Masonry Contractors, my flagship company, almost went out of business due to safety issues on our jobsites. My previous employer didn’t place safety in high regard, so I wasn’t aware of how important it was at the time. With my guard down the first 10 years in business, we had several jobsite incidents and workers compensation premiums soared. We were also eliminated from doing the larger projects as the General Contractors banned us from their sites due to our lack of a good safety program.

I had a life changing experience when my safety director told me that I was the real issue for our lack of safety on our jobsites. Thinking he was crazy, I asked what made him think that. He replied that safety starts at the top and although you have safety meetings and preach safety, you go to jobsites and ignore safety violations while focusing solely on production. Then you leave the safety issues for me to fix. I can’t get them to wear safety glasses or fix safety issues when everyone is following the leader, he explained. His message hit me hard. Especially when we were on the verge of bankruptcy, and I was under huge stress due to a couple of my close friends and best employees falling from scaffolding on two separate occasions. I learned the hard way that safety must be our top priority and must start at the top. I vowed to never let my guard down on jobsite safety again.

What I didn’t know before that was the best of the best in Construction always placed safety as a high priority. Some may believe that a columbus oh dump truck company profits and prospers into being able to spend the time and money it takes to have a successful safety program, but it’s the other way around. When you invest in safety first, your employees know you care about them, and they know you won’t tolerate unsafe practices. When my safety managers test-fit our workers for the right size harness, and hand them one that is not the cheapest on the shelf, but the one best-suited for their work, and give them the training and knowledge to be successful in safety, quality and production, then your front-line workers are advocates for safety and produce high quality work.

Today, safety is such a growing part of our field and integral part of our success, that I started a safety columbus oh dump truck company in 2015 to solve the disappointment I experienced with safety providers for my companies. My goal with Malta Dynamics was to bring field tested, field approved safety products direct to the companies who use it, at a fair price. I wanted the products to be in stock and available time after time. We’re so excited to continue serving you or to win your business for the first time.

With the help and suggestions of my hundreds of field employees, we have been hard at columbus oh dump truck company developing products for 8 years and are one of the fastest growing safety companies in the world. Our XSERIES Mobile Grabbers have become notorious for solving fall protection issues where workers had previously been forced to use incorrect anchorage or columbus oh dump truck company without protection. Our lines of harnesses, lifelines, anchors and PPE products are designed for the people who wear them every day and you can feel it when you use the products. I invite you to have a conversation about safety with Malta Dynamics.

Thank you and stay safe!
