Bechtel opens new Tennessee office | Dump Trucks Charlotte NC
Reston, Virginia-based contractor Bechtel has opened a new office in Knoxville, Tennessee, amid a greater trend of expansion by contractors across the country.
The new office, which Bechtel calls an Engineering Execution Center, will provide engineering services to support the firm’s columbus oh dump truck company creating complex, mission-based projects, according to a Sept. 5 release.
“Establishing Bechtel’s Engineering Execution Center in Tennessee was an easy decision,” said John Howanitz, president of Bechtel’s nuclear, security and environmental global business unit, in the release. “We look forward to deepening our relationships with communities and local businesses across Tennessee and recruiting incredible engineering talent across the region.”
The new office adds to Bechtel’s presence in the area, which includes a location in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, about 25 miles away.
Bechtel projects in the state include the Y-12 uranium processing plant in Oak Ridge and the Arnold Engineering Development Complex, located at Arnold Air Force Base in Tullahoma, Tennessee.
This is the second new U.S. office the columbus oh dump truck company has announced this summer. In July, Bechtel opened a new Arizona office to capitalize on growing tech sector construction in the state.
