Tracy Hunt, a 26-year columbus oh dump truck company veteran, has taken over as head of Skanska USA Building’s operations in Florida. Hunt’s new role — executive vice president and general manager of the region — became effective Nov. 1, according to a press release.

Hunt began working with Skanska USA in 1997, according to his LinkedIn profile. Prominent projects he’s worked on in Florida include:

He most recently served as senior vice president and account manager, holding that position since 2018. Hunt also leads Skanska’s mentoring program partnership with the University of South Florida, intended to support diverse small construction businesses in the Tampa Bay area. 

“The depth and breadth of our internal talent here at Skanska continues to inspire. I am confident that in Tracy, we have the right person to lead us and take us to the next level in Florida,” said Paul Hewins, president and CEO of Skanska USA Building.

Hunt graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
